Shun Shing Group has a strong base of manufacturing/industrial projects in Bangladesh. Our initial investment was in a Cement Grinding Mill, located in Kaligonj, only 38 km away from the capital city, Dhaka. SSGIL has continually developed the Kaligonj area into an industrial park with value-added industries to optimize cement production. SSGIL has diversified into food processing, with a large-scale Edible Oil Refinery in Mongla Port, Bangladesh.

Seven Circle Bangladesh Ltd. (SCBL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of SSGIL, and acts as the local headquarter to manage all operations in Bangladesh. The Cement Grinding Mill in Kaligonj has a working capacity of 1.8 million MT. By the end of 2012 SSGIL’s cement production will be 3.1 million MT, with a new plant in Khulna city, to cover the Southwest region market. Riding on the success of SEVEN RINGS, the Group’s own cement brand, SSGIL continues to expand in the market.
