Wheat is one of the newest commodities in SSGIL’s trading portfolio. With strong demand and supportive buyers in Bangladesh we are continuing to develop this trade. We have been a member of GAFTA since 2008; the arbitration body of Grain Trade. This food item is used in producing many basic foods such as flour and bread. We are currently trading around 200,000 MT annually, primarily into Bangladesh markets, with plans to develop in other countries, such as those the Middle East, and African countries.

We originate Wheat from Black Sea Region, Australia, Canada, and South American Countries.

We work with the leading multinational and regional grain shippers such as Kernel, Aston, Glencore, Cargill, Bunge, CHS, Noble Grain, and others.
